ACCEPTABLE USE OF THE ROOM
AA-Lamps is an online AA chat meeting forum and
we do try to adhere to the 12 Traditions of AA. However, we also have a
responsibility to adhere to StarChat Acceptable Use Policy (to view
click here).
We ask you to refrain from profanity and direct harassment of other people in
the room.
Our channel operators are present not as Trusted Servants of AA, but as StarChat
Channel Operators to maintain adherence to StarChat policies and to change
topics, etc.
You will know a channel operator by the @ in front of their name.
SHARING GUIDELINES
We do keep a friendly atmosphere at all times, and encourage you to speak up and
talk to us. Just jump right in and start talking.
The only time that we ask you not to do this is if we have a meeting in
progress. We discourage crosstalk during meetings so everyone can have a chance
to share without interruption.
If you wish to share in the meeting, just type !
If you are not sure if a meeting is in progress, double-click on one of
the names of people in the room, and a private chat window will open up and you
can ask, or just type ! at any time.
